Handsome ex-cop Frank McGuire is on a quest to locate his dead partner's missing son and uses his ability to commune with the dead to assist him. Rand Brennan has an identity issue, exacerbated due to the death of his father. Hoping to find himself, Rand drops out of college, takes to the streets, and doesn't realize he's embroiled in duplicity and murder. In order to save Rand, Frank must confront the nefarious killers and, confront his long-suppressed feelings for Rand. Elements of intense sexual activity

"Ms. Diablo carefully orchestrates the scenes to include just the right amount of fear, stimulation and eroticism. The reader is instantly driven to not only see where the characters end up but also to find out the identity of the Black Rail Killer. The reveal is not what you think and that makes it so much more enticing." You Gotta Read – Our Top Rating! 5 Stars

There’s no one who can deliver snark like Frank McQuire, ex-cop turned private investigator. Here he’s finally found Rand (living on the streets) and followed him back to his studio apartment. Frank’s intent is to scare him, but things get carried away once he sees the man who’s always made his heart race.
 Excerpt:

Frank holstered the gun, grabbed Rand by the hair and shoved him toward the wall, face first. A fine bead of sweat had broken out on Rand’s forehead and his hands were clenched tightly at his sides. “You call me sir when you address me.”

Yes, sir.”

What’s in the box you carried home tonight if not drugs?”

You followed me?” Rand cranked his neck around to look at him.
Frank pushed his face into the wall and kicked his feet out until his legs were spread wide. “Put your hands on the wall, palms flat. You even twitch, I’ll drop you quicker than butter melting in a pan, got that?”

I ain’t got no drugs, man—I mean, sir.”

Such a smart, pretty boy and a quick learner,” Frank said.

Acutely aware of the smooth, tanned skin of his shoulders and back, mere inches from him, and the sinewy muscles of his forearm stretched out to the wall, Frank sucked in a quiet breath. To heighten the tension, Frank put his hand on his back and snapped the elastic band of his briefs. “You know what they do to little boys in prison?”

Rand shivered, whether from the threat of prison or the stranger behind him,
Frank didn’t know. “Sir, if someone told you I had drugs, they lied. I swear I don’t.”

Frank rolled the boxers from his hips and left them hugging his knees. Kick ’em off. Now!”

He channels spirits to help him find the person taking little girls. High powered and breathtaking suspense, this third in the series carries the most drama and action. Crossroads Series: Three dynamic books that carry elements of suspense and romance. Keta Diablo's Crossroads: Shadowland was an incredible story. Rand and Frank are so well developed they feel like old friends. The plot leaves you with the chills. You experience true evil and then relief when good intervenes. Hot passion and spine-tingling danger combine with the gratification and sorrow at the end to produce a tale that will continue to haunt you even after you're done reading. We can only urge Keta Diablo to finish Book Five so we can see what happens next." CataNetwork/Sensual Reads, 5 Stars - TOP REVIEWER PICK
